Collecting and Safeguarding County Funds

Acting as the County's Treasurer

The Trustee serves as county treasurer, responsible for collecting local, state, and property taxes, then disbursing and investing those funds on behalf of Lake County. The office keeps the county's finances organized and available for the services residents depend on.

Property owners can settle their tax bill in person or online, and the office is available during regular business hours for any billing questions.
